Who Our Client Is
At our client, our accounting department is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity and operational success of our diverse operations. Our client manages financial records for both their premium Boeing VIP charters and their reliable Ravn Alaska Dash regional services.


Position Overview
The Senior Revenue Accountant will play a crucial role in managing efficient financial reporting processes while maintaining tight integration with business operations. This position requires a strong systems orientation to help the business manage and grow its Sage Intacct financial ledger.


Your Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), corporate policies and procedures, interline agreements, the Revenue Accounting Manual, and prorate agreements/resolutions.
• Oversee the reconciliation of all commercial revenue and liability-related general ledger accounts, while maintaining comprehensive workpapers.
• Extract and analyze data from accounting and vendor systems for both monthly and ad hoc reporting.
• Ensure the effectiveness of revenue accounting processes by identifying deficiencies and implementing process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the department and corporate objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of revenue accounting processes in accordance with US GAAP.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• Proven ability to develop and execute plans, meet deadlines, and operate effectively under tight time constraints.


Preferred Qualifications

• Aviation/transportation industry experience.
  
• Experience with financial audits.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CFM, or CIA.
• Ability to work US hours
