Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of enterprise technology initiatives for an Australian-based organisation. This role is suited to someone with strong experience managing complex delivery environments, particularly within regulated industries such as financial services, banking, fintech, or payments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving delivery planning, sprint execution, stakeholder coordination, governance, reporting, risk management, and commercial delivery discipline across a structured technology program.


Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, delivery management, or technology program delivery.
  • At least 3+ years of experience managing projects within regulated financial services, banking, fintech, payments, or similar enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience delivering projects under fixed-scope, fixed-price, or commercially governed delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery methods, including sprint planning, showcases, retrospectives, handovers, and post-delivery support.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders, technical teams, delivery leads, and cross-functional business units.
  • Strong discipline in RAID management, KPI reporting, dependency tracking, and delivery governance.
  • Comfortable using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar project delivery platforms.
    

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, mobilisation, sprint execution, handover, and post-implementation support.
  • Lead delivery ceremonies such as planning sessions, showcases, retrospectives, risk reviews, and dependency meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly status updates, project dashboards, delivery metrics, and KPI reports.
  • Maintain and manage RAID logs, ensuring risks, blockers, assumptions, and dependencies are tracked and escalated appropriately.
  • Coordinate project mobilisation, including equipment, access provisioning, onboarding, and environment readiness.
  • Work closely with technical leads and stakeholders to manage capacity, scope, timelines, and delivery commitments.
  • Support change control, commercial governance, milestone acceptance, invoicing inputs, and variation requests where required.
  • Coordinate post-delivery support activities, including defect triage, issue resolution, and warranty planning.
  • Facilitate cross-team alignment where project delivery depends on other technical, security, platform, or integration teams.
