Senior Oracle Middleware Support Engineer
Our client, a cloud consulting and managed services company, is currently looking for a Senior Oracle Middleware Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle middleware environments and applications.
The Role
The role will focus on supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting Oracle middleware environments, with a strong emphasis on Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle SOA Suite. The successful candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/12c environments and be comfortable handling complex production issues and escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle middleware environments and applications
- Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle WebLogic Server
- Support Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c environments
- Troubleshoot production incidents, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis
- Monitor and troubleshoot application and middleware performance
- Support and maintain legacy Oracle middleware environments
- Work with technical and application teams to resolve complex production issues
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and operational procedures
Key Requirements
- 4–5+ years of relevant experience in Oracle middleware, application support, or a related role
- Strong hands-on Oracle Middleware experience
- Relevant Oracle 11g/12c experience is required
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c
- Experience with Oracle Database 11g
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Exposure to BPM, BPEL, and/or ADF
- Strong production support and application troubleshooting experience
- Experience with performance troubleshooting, tuning, and RCA
- Comfortable providing L2/L3 escalation support
- Experience working with legacy Oracle systems and environments
Working Conditions
- Work Arrangement: Remote
- Contract: 1-year Independent Contractor engagement
- Schedule: PH night/mid shift, with required overlap with U.S. business hours
- Candidates must be comfortable working U.S./night-shift hours and with the one-year Independent Contractor setup
