About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to support SAP Finance and Controlling projects. The role will focus on SAP FICO implementation, configuration, system improvements, and support while working closely with finance and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement SAP FI and CO solutions based on business requirements.
- Work with finance and business teams to understand their needs and recommend SAP solutions.
- Handle SAP FI areas including GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting.
- Support SAP CO functions such as Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, and CO-PA.
- Manage integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
- Perform functional testing and support UAT and system implementation.
- Troubleshoot SAP FICO issues and provide ongoing system support.
- Support financial reporting, cost accounting, and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare functional documentation and provide guidance to users.
- Recommend system and process improvements when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of SAP FICO experience.
- Experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP FI and CO.
- Experience integrating FICO with MM, SD, PP, or other SAP modules.
- Good understanding of financial reporting, accounting processes, and month-end closing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- SAP FICO certification is an advantage.
