Senior Brand & Visual Designer
Our client is seeking a Senior Brand & Visual Designer to lead the transformation of their brand. This role combines strategic brand development with hands-on design execution. You'll be responsible for auditing their current identity and evolving it introducing new design elements, accents, and a refreshed, cohesive visual system.
The ideal candidate has previously led a brand refresh or full rebrand (either agency-side or in-house) and understands how to elevate a brand from its current state to something bold, distinctive, and scalable. Alongside strategic brand work, you will create high-quality visual assets for campaigns, events, and digital channels to bring the refreshed identity to life.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Evolution & Identity
Audit the clients current brand identity and identify opportunities for improvement.
Define and implement a refreshed visual identity system (iconography, color palette, typography, imagery style, design accents).
Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines.
Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Design Execution
Create high-quality visual assets for marketing and sales activities, events, presentations, and digital channels.
Deliverables may include eBooks, documents, complex diagrams, trade show booth designs, digital ads, print ads, PowerPoint and Word presentations, and more.
Translate concepts from internal teams and leadership into visually compelling designs.
Creative Leadership
Act as the brand guardian and advocate for design consistency.
Provide creative direction and guidance on all brand-related initiatives.
Stay ahead of design trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to elevate the brand.
Key Requirements
Experience in brand identity design (beyond basic graphic design execution).
Proven track record of leading a brand refresh or rebrand (agency or in-house).
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Strong ability to work independently with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and adapt to shifting priorities.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Proficiency in Figma.
Experience with motion graphics tools (After Effects or similar) is advantageous.
Experience with Affinity is a bonus.
