Overview:
The ClickUp Systems Consultant will be responsible for auditing, configuring, and optimizing our existing ClickUp environment. This role will work cross- functionally with teams across the organization to ensure ClickUp is structured to support collaboration, accountability, and strategic execution at scale. The ideal candidate combines hands-on knowledge of ClickUp with project management best practices and change management experience.
The ideal candidate will work closely with our operations teams to optimize their ClickUp environments and foster better cross-team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Audit & Redesign: Evaluate the current ClickUp configuration and propose a scalable, role-based, and intuitive workspace structure (spaces, folders, lists, templates, custom fields, permissions, automations, etc.).
- Process Optimization: Design and implement ClickUp-based workflows that align with team-specific and company-wide project lifecycles.
- Governance: Establish governance standards and naming conventions to ensure consistency, usability, and long-term maintainability.
- Training & Enablement: Develop training materials, SOPs, and host onboarding workshops to empower users at every level of the organization.
- Automation & Integration: Build and manage automation to reduce manual work and improve data flow.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between departments to translate operational needs into effective ClickUp structures and workflows.
- Metrics & Reporting: Create dashboards and reporting views that support transparency, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and managing ClickUp in a mid- to large- size organization (150+ employees).
- 3+ years of experience in project/program management, business operations, or systems consulting.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum,Waterfall, Kanban, etc.).
- Experience in process mapping, workflow optimization, and system design.
- Ability to manage change and drive adoption across technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and training skills.
- Familiarity with ClickUps advanced features: Goals, Docs, Dashboards, Automations, Templates, Permissions, etc.
