QA Automated Tester

Were hiring on behalf of our client for a QA/Automated Tester role. Our client is a Sydney based AI startup, backed by prominent VCs. In this position, you'll help shape the testing strategy and implement comprehensive quality assurance processes across their platform. Your work will be essential in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of their compliance engine while maintaining high data quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical testing skills combined with data analysis capabilities to build and maintain robust QA frameworks.


Impact You'll Make:

• Design and implement end-to-end testing strategies for their platform

• Create automated tests for both platform behaviour and data quality

• Build and maintain testing frameworks for their data pipeline

• Develop monitoring dashboards for business metrics and data quality

• Perform thorough manual testing of new features and pull requests

• Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems

• Create and maintain testing documentation and best practices

• Collaborate with teams to improve quality processes and standards
  

What You'll Bring:

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation and testing

• Experience in manual QA

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for test automation

• Experience with API testing and web application testing

• Solid understanding of data quality principles and testing

• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations

• Track record of implementing automated testing frameworks

• Experience with continuous integration testing

Nice to Have:

• Linear Experience

• Experience with AI/ML system testing

• Knowledge of testing data pipelines

• Familiarity with Bruno for API testing

• Experience with modern monitoring tools

• Background in compliance or regulatory systems

• Experience with GitHub Actions

• Knowledge of performance testing

• Experience with StreamLit or similar dashboard tools
