About Our Client:

Our client is bringing the clean energy transition on-chain. They partner with established climate and energy businesses to connect investors directly to impactful opportunities that have high potential yields (mid-teens), access to tax benefits, and transparency on a distributed ledger. Their blockchain-powered platform leverages smart contracts to enable fractional ownership, reduce costs, and streamline the entire investment process.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Front End Engineer to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing their platform. You'll work closely with the CTO and Head of Product.


Key Responsibilities:

  • UI Development: Take ownership of the existing Next.js TypeScript React codebase to push out new features and enhance the UX.
  • DApp Development: Build and maintain UI components that connect to EVM-based smart contracts.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum usability, speed, and scalability.
  • Technology Updates: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure their UI remains cutting-edge.
    

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience with TypeScript and React.
  • 2+ years of experience developing TypeScript-based dApps.
    

Nice-to-Have:

  • UX design experience with a strong eye for user-centric design.
  • Experience with Next.js framework.
  • Familiarity with Python, particularly the web3 and Django libraries.
    

Technical Skills:

  • Expert proficiency in TypeScript and React.
  • Strong understanding of EVM-based blockchains.
  • Experience with smart contract interactions using libraries like web3.js or ethers.js.
    

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
